Company Information
JonDeTech AB was founded in 2008, and has since developed
the technological platform to enable low cost IR,
heat flux and ΔT sensors to be produced directly in a plastic foil material.
The product is in many ways similar to
flexible printed electronics.
JonDeTech AB's headquarters, development facilities, and production line is located in Uppsala, Sweden. Our
international sales office and visiting address is in Stockholm, Sweden.

June 2011 |
JonDeTech has developed and characterized an ultra thin contactless thermometer.
This was achieved by integrating an thin film RTD (measuring the absolute temperature) under the thermopile.
We gratefully acknowledge Vinnova for the financing of this project..

JonDeTech has scaled up the production line.
The production capacity, as defined by machine capacity, is now more than 100 thousand sensors/year.

March 2009 |
The new low volume production line was inaugerated.
We are up and running!

The sensor was for the first time surface mounted on a
flexible PCB carrier and the SMT soldering process was verified. |

Jan 2008 |
The company JonDeTech was founded by the researcher at
Uppsala University with support from SenseAir AB.
The exploration of infrared and thermopile market needs was started.

June 2007 |
The second generation prototype sensors was produced.
The response was improved almost 10 times and the fabrication process was simplified.

Dec. 2005 |
The first generation prototype sensor was produced at Uppsala University.
The principle of the detection was proven.

Aug. 2003 |
The thermopile R&D project started as a collaboration between
Uppsala University and SenseAir AB. The project
was founded in the results obtained in the research of Mikael Lindeberg & Klas Hjort.
The first patent application was filed. Chief of Technical Operations was Hans Martin at SenseAir,
and Mikael Lindeberg was Head of R&D at Uppsala University.
